| Release Notes |
1) Improved Conversion of Stored Procedures
In the new version, the conversion of SQL and flow-of-control statements, queries, declarations, assignments and other SQL language elements between Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2, Sybase, Pervasive.SQL and MySQL stored procedures is improved.
2) Advanced Data Type Conversion
The new version offers unique and powerful capabilities for the data type conversion that can be specified on the global level applicable for all tables and on the local level for each table individually.
SQLWays takes into account that compatible data types may have different maximum length limits, divides such data types by ranges and converts each range to the most compatible data type.
3) Transfer of spatial data
SQLWays is capable of transferring spatial data (e.g. geographic maps) used in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applications between Oracle 9i databases. |
