What's new in V.1.8:
1. Report Sharp-Shooter's documentation has been completely revised. One of the advantages of new documentation is that it is illustrated with big number of examples. Special attention is paid to business-objects based report generation as well as to usage of scripts and generation of non-standard reports.
2. Now over 30 examples illustrating Report Sharp-Shooter's functionality are included in the delivery package.
3. Report Sharp-Shooter performance speed has noticeably increased.
4. Now 13 export filters are included in Report Sharp-Shooter: PDF, HTML, EMF, BMP, JPG, GIF, TIFF, PNG, Excel, Excel (XML), CSV, TXT and RTF. Moreover, Report Shap-Shooter allows to use custom export filters.
5. Excel export filter has been completely rewritten. New Excel export filter is notable for high performance speed. It forms binary Excel file directly. Installation of MS Excel or other third-party software products is not required. That is why now Report Sharp-Shooter allows to easily form Excel files on the web server etc. Resulting file is compatible with all MS Office versions starting from MS Office '97.
6. Export algorithms for TXT and CSV filters have been optimized. Report Sharp-Shooter 1.8. offers great flexibility in export process managing. This is very important in many cases, for instance it is useful for those who deals with dot-matrix printers.
7. Export algorithm for RTF filter has been optimized. This greatly speeds up export process. Resulting file is compatible with all MS Office versions starting from MS Office '97.
