Bowen Island sits just off the British Columbia coast, a 20-minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay. Many residents commute to the city of Vancouver for work. Even for those who don't, the ferries are a daily fact of life, and they can often be seen plying the surrounding waters.

To keep file size down, the images are limited to 1024 x 768 pixels. They will shrink to fit smaller screens and expand to fit larger ones, but will lose some quality in the process, especially on larger screens.
